How Safe Are Your Vitamins?
The FDA has left the burden of proof on the vitamin manufacturers. The FDA guidelines also only require Good Manufacturing Practices for food. As a result, 70% of vitamins do not even contain what is on the label. Some even have toxic levels of some ingredients as well as some reports showing harmful substances such as lead!
USANA Health Sciences voluntarily follow Good Manufacturing Practices for phamaceuticals. In addition, USANA supplements are independantly tested by NSF.org and come with a potency gaurantee. ConsumerLabs.com does independant testing and reports on thousands of products that will shock and inform you of the truth. Also, Lyle McWilliams book the Nutrisearch Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements” campared and reports on their findings for over 1500 vitamins and supplements in the USA and Canada.
You can get the facts about USANA here: http://www.yourvitaminsupplementinfostore.com/USANA%20campaign/squeezepage.htm
