Are there any supplements or certain foods vegetarian kids need more of?
My kids 12, 13, and 15 have been vegetarians almost 2 years. Their energy levels have been fine, as have their general health. Even though they’re healthy, are there any additional supplements or certain foods that would be beneficial to them? For some reason I forget to bring up the fact that they’re vegs to the doc, although I worry about vitamin/mineral deficiency. Thanks
If they’re happy and energetic probably not. The only one that is a slight possibility is vitamin B-12, but in reality humans can get all the nutrients, minerals and vitamins they need with a diverse and plentiful vegetarian diet!
