The vitamin and herb companies are making millions of dollars in promoting and selling supplements to people who are looking for more energy and better health.
But you can have both and save money by adding some Ayurvedic guidelines and recipes in your diet. Green Smoothies provide nutrition top counter the effects of a stressful lifestyle of today and often otherwise poor diet.
The first thing to remember is that your body prefers real food. This is what we are genetically wired for … to eat real food, whole, instead of supplements that were pressed together and transformed into a plant manufacturing. Your body can absorb and utilize these nutrients best when it comes to food. (You have more energy because your body is not using its resources trying to break the capsules and tablets from abroad.) Why should I add a green smoothie for the day?
Most are not as healthy smoothies and does not provide good nutrition and long-lasting energy. loaded with fruits such as bananas, strawberries and orange juice, which provide lots of sugar! This means a fast-acting explosion of energy, and increased blood sugar, followed by fatigue and blood sugar. Sugar also promotes the growth of Candida yeast and definitely causes fatigue.
But a green smoothie is different. It is made with different ingredients and still tastes Yummy! In Ayurveda, eating everything according to the season, so just changing a few ingredients such as vegetables and fruit keeps your body and energy balance.
Some good examples? Lemon Tart Blueberry Smoothie for summer or cardamom vanilla pear smoothie for the fall.
The blueberry smoothie Lemon is made with pure water, lemon juice to cleanse the liver, cranberries provide plenty of fiber and antioxidants, some fresh dates at fresh avocado for the good type of fat, and few leaves of kale, fiber, calcium and chlorophyll. The chirpily helps cleanse the bloodstream. All bits of fiber and low fat maintaining good feeling of fullness and satisfaction for hours.
Kale does not care? That's the fun part, just adjust the ingredients according to taste and the season. A little coconut milk instead of water and you have the sweetness and good fats. The spinach instead of kale. With fresh seasonal vegetables in the market are likely endless. Just change a few ingredients to balance your dosha.
This is a great way to get more vegetables into your diet without doing much of the kitchen. The ingredients are right in your grocery store. No supplements necessary. It takes just minutes to whip in the morning and take it down the road. And children will like too.
By adding a green smoothie with these super foods to your diet and your day, slowly and carefully cleaning toxins accumulate in your body and the addition of better nutrition keeps your energy level balanced. They are loaded with healthy and beneficial enzymes that cells fuel with a lot of energy.
