While essential oils for use in cleaning products when you have a cat?
I've been reading that essential oils are dangerous when applied a cat. I've always done my own cleaning products and put essential oils to make them smell good. About 10 drops per 24 oz usually use lemon sweet orange, peppermint and lavender different cleaners. Is it dangerous that I use on counters and floors, now that I have a cat in my house running and jumping on all these surfaces? Note that you never apply the oil directly to my cat.
I guess I would not be a problem. First, it will add very little to the solution, the solution is not put on heavy and then allowed to dry, and your cat is at risk only to wash their paws after walking on a surface was treated. But it is good that you're thinking about the future.
