Moving onto Cows Milk (not formula). What steps did you take?
We are going to move our 1 year old onto cows milk, and just wondered what steps other mums took to make the switch over.
Do you give your child a vitamin supplement of some kind to keep their iron levels up? Or is this not necessary?
i just simply stopped giving my daughter formula in a bottle and started giving her milk in a cup. I dont want to make you sound silly BUT for me it was that simple. I gave her no extra vitamins, as long as you give your child a good variety of food daily there is no need. Good luck with this big step, your baby is becoming a toddler….they seem to changeover night at this stage…I had a baby just 6 months ago…now I have a walking talking toddler!
