Say Goodbye Cellulite with Essential Oils
It is summer and swimsuit season is now in full swing. One of the biggest concerns virtually all women in swimsuit season is the dreaded C word … cellulite … that lumpy, dimpled, the texture of orange peel that seems to target the skin on the thighs, bottom and back of the arms and the shame and embarrassment that someone who did.
Cellulite affects nearly all women as you age. Great scientific discoveries have uncovered the factors that cause cellulite.
Although there are three layers of fat under the skin, only the layer is more involved with the cellulite. Changes in connective tissue structure at the top of this layer of fat caused by pregnancy, hormonal, structural, vascular changes, genetics and aging, trigger the formation of cellulite fat that allows it extends deep into the dermis (the layer of skin under the outermost layer), which is what causes the characteristic appearance of cellulite nodular.
The hormones secreted in response to stress, particularly cortisol, also encourage fat deposits in problem areas. Pregnenolone is a precursor hormone that all hormones are created. It is an important precursor for the body's production of progesterone that blocks cortisol receptors.
Some of the essential oils that excess cortisol in combat balsam fir, Conyza, fennel, peppermint, frankincense essential oils.
Studies of magnetic resonance imaging have shown that women with cellulite have columns as a pillar separating the fat chambers, which are larger and deeper than those of men. These large vertical chambers can store a large amount of fat.
Collagen tissue support of men, by contrast, is more like a crosslinked network is organized into small diagonal chambers, only occupy a small amount of fat … why men do not have cellulite.
Cellulite is mostly related to the underlying structure or framework and relationship adipose tissue in the connective tissue in women. Scientists are now saying that cellulite is a disease of connective tissue and is the product of extensive destruction connective tissue and that the three main causes of cellulite are excess fat deposition, weakened connective tissue support structure and poor circulation.
fat storage and distribution are controlled by two sets of special receptors called alpha and beta receptors on the surface of each fat cell. The beta receptors to promote fat loss and are regulated by the hormone epinephrine, whereas alpha receptors prevent fat breakdown and promote fat storage.
In the case of cellulite alpha receptors outnumber beta receptors. Women also unfortunately tend to have more fat storage alpha receptors than fat breakdown beta receptors in the hips and thighs.
Increasing production in the body of the hormone-sensitive lipase enzymes and the enzyme protein kinase A will help break down fat cells and released into the bloodstream and is a key component of helping to reduce fat and cellulite.
In addition to the degeneration of connective tissue, poor circulation and lymphatic drainage can also aggravate and worsen cellulite. Exercise can stimulate adrenaline release, which may to some measure to help reduce the appearance of cellulite, but not enough to completely eliminate cellulite. The increased circulation will help increase the flow of lymph and also help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Here are some essential oils to the rescue are well known to help with circulation, stimulates the lymphatic system and promoting the elimination of toxins and water retention, all of which helps reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Because some of these particular essential oils are quite strong, can be irritating to sensitive skin so it is important if you have sensitive skin, to dilute in oil carrier as the base of almond, jojoba, coconut, olive, grapeseed and avocado oils. All of these oils are excellent for the skin.
Just make sure are using an organic oil and press cake still in its natural raw state, so that their chemical composition has not been altered or destroyed and to nurture skin properties are still in touch.
Most of all oils when heated past 103 degrees Fahrenheit, with the exception of seeds grape and coconut oil are destroyed, the structure of chemical change, and can even become toxic. A good rule of thumb is that if you do not eat, then there should be applied to the skin because the skin is absorbed into the body.
So here are the essential oils that help reduce the appearance of cellulite:
Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum and osteosperma) – has been used for centuries as a diuretic and is excellent to relieve fluid retention. Recognized capacity of detoxification and purification, Juniper essential oil clears waste, promotes excretion of toxins and increases vascular circulation.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) – Rosemary increases warmth and stimulates blood circulation and is particularly useful for circulatory problems of extremities. I stand for long periods of time and when the legs are swollen and calves, rubbing the essential oil of rosemary in them reduces swelling and edema in about 2 minutes. It very amazing to combat fluid retention and lymphatic congestion making is very effective for cellulite and obesity (and great for keeping legs of swelling during air travel also).
Essential Oil Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) – This essential oil is most used for circulatory system as it improves circulation and strengthens blood capillaries. It also helps in the reduction of liquids. It is excellent for varicose veins due to its vasoconstrictor effect.
Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) – Excellent for all skin types because of its ability to balance sebum. Improves blood flow, a stimulant of the liver and pancreas and dilated bile ducts for liver detoxification. geranium essential oil also helps balance hormones.
Lemon (Citrus limon) – Lemon essential oil is stimulating to the circulatory system and improves microcirculation, strengthens the vascular tissues, is used for the treatment of varicose veins by improving circulation and relieving pressure in the veins (along with Cypress essential oil in a ratio of 1 to 1).
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) – Lavender oil can also be used in the treatment of stretch marks.
Pomelo (Citrus paradisi) – Relieves congested skin and fat, has a tonic effect on the skin and tissues. For this reason, it is a good oil to use in the treatment of cellulite.
Orange (Citrus sinensis) – There is a certain similarity between the skin of cellulite and of an orange peel and could be one of the first hints of orange essential oil is an exceptional oil to reduce the appearance of cellulite. orange essential oil is a diuretic and is ideal to relieve fluid retention, but also smooths the epidermis, stimulates blood circulation and lymph fluids and is very useful in the treatment of inflamed tissue.
I mixed equal parts of orange Lemon, Cypress and Juniper essential oils and massage these oils directly on my skin with any oil company, but by adding a few drops of oil support base may be a good idea if you have sensitive skin. I noticed a big difference in the appearance of cellulite in about half an hour.
